As a #career coach, I frequently hear from #jobseekers who are struggling to secure #job #interviews. If this sounds familiar, I want to share a few tips that can help you get your foot in the door.
-Tailor your #resume and cover letter to each #job you apply for. This shows the #employer that you have read the job description and understand the requirements of the role.
-Use your #network. Reach out to people in your industry or at companies you’re interested in working for. Ask for informational #interviews or for advice on how to break into the field.
-Follow up on your applications. After you apply for a job, send a brief follow-up email to the hiring manager. This shows that you’re interested in the role and can help you stand out from other applicants.
-Be persistent. Don’t give up if you don’t hear back right away. Keep applying to jobs, networking, and following up until you land an interview.
